Untitled,1974 Granolithograph, 66.5 x 50 cm © 2006, ProLitteris, Zürich Part of a body of works that includes various explorations of painting (metal paintings, fabric paintings and wall paintings) and printmaking, this 1974 granolithograph is from Palermo's "Homage to Picasso" portfolio. His use of geometric structures expresses Constructivist and Minimalist tendencies. Yet the irregular edges stand counter to an interest in ideal forms, and the importance given to colour further complicates classification |
